Vietnam veteran, Mr. Roper, honored on October 26, 2013.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Roper served two tours of duty. During this time, he was exposed to the harsh reality of war. Further, he remained in the Army for ten years, total, serving his country and community. *

His experience was honored on his birthday, October 26, 2013, at a McDonald's in Omaha, Nebraska.

The centerpiece of his quilt was made by DeAnn Nichelson, on the right, of Omaha, Nebraska. The remainder of the quilt, as well as the quilting, was completed by a quilter from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Someone photo-shopped  center block that read "Thank you Mr. Roper"
