Cuddly Care Daycare, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, provided Dove of Peace with a generous Hancock Fabrics Gift Card to support quilts for United States veterans of foreign wars in honor of their relative, Papa, that served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. It helped purchase vibrant red fabric and some unusual blue and white fabric. The stash is getting replenished and new ideas for quilts continue to flow.
Nothing like getting a birthday present that provides a means to give back. It's fun when a friend knows your heart!
