Dupell, Ron

On Thursday, April 3, 2014, Mr. Ron Dupell, a veteran that served during the Vietnam War, was honored with a special historical quilt. Mr. Dupell, CMSgt, USAF (Retired) served in Da Nang and Dong Ha, Vietnam, 1969.1970

Mr. Dupell serves as the Quarter Master of VFW Post 2503 in Omaha, Nebraska. His generous donation of time and energy helps keep the lights on there.

This quilt reflects the Holocaust and is called Stars of Peace. Each star represents those that died during this tragic event, including those tortured by Nazis, as well as those serving in military units. The night sky is the backdrop for stars of gold.
