A special thanks goes out to a generous Vietnam veteran at VFW Post 2503. His charitable donation supplied this fabric stash:
It was made a quilt. It's now completed and called, Birds in Flight.
The quilt is going to be used for a silent auction at a Vietnam Veterans 2014 Reunion. Stop back in May to see the finished quilt and its new owner.
Another request for a silent auction donation is also in the works for the Vietnam Veterans Line Haul Reunion, 2014, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It is in the shape of an octagon and can be used as a table topper or a wall hanging. Hopefully, it will help their group through a veteran's generous donation.
