40 & 8 Central States Promenade 2014

This year, the 40 & 8 is having their Central State Promenade in Omaha, Nebraska. Thanks to one of its honored members, and Dove of Peace, it will have a quilt for their silent auction.

The patriotic quilt features a Barn Raiser center. The red square is a symbol of the heart/hearth, while the surrounding logs represent community unity. The navy and white trim is a Sawtooth pattern.

The Dove of Peace logo is also included.
At the top, back, is a tribute written especially for the Central States Promenade 2014. (Please excuse the quality of the photo. It is written on white Kona fabric, but the photo makes it appeared yellowed.)

Best of wishes to those attending the Central States Promenade 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska. Hopefully, the quilt will help raise money for your scholarship program. Thank you for serving the United States during a foreign war, as well as in peace!
