Despite best laid plans, the Soaring Eagle quilt was set aside to complete another quilt. The second quilt, Reflections of Service, will be presented to a veteran in the very near future. Here's a quick look at a portion of the quilt's back.

Hopefully, the colors on your monitor are brighter than mine. If all goes well, someone from VFW Post 2503 might volunteer to take photos of the quilts as they are presented to veterans. It is always memorable to see their faces and recall their moment in the limelight.
**It appears I will not have a car for a few months. Until it's operable, it won't be possible for me to get to the VFW, but I'll continue to keep in touch.
Remember, all veterans of foreign war that continue to do volunteer work for their community are eligible. Combat experience and heroic deeds are not required, but always appreciated.
