During a tough walk back from Target, Cookie, and her son, Jason, offered me a ride. Thanks to them, the walk home was successful. Therefore, in their honor, the August quilt will be dedicated in their name.
The July quilt will be presented in August to a member of the Omaha community, most likely sometime during the first week of the month. The quilt, Reflections of Service, is tribute to all veterans that also do volunteer work for their community.
