A quilt top was stolen from my home during the week of Christmas. The quilt top consists of homespun blocks in orange, gold, and army green, as well as striped blocks of army green and gold.
My name is written as "deann nichelson" on the top, back of the quilt, as well as the following information: Omaha, Nebraska & D.O.B. 5/22/54.
The finished quilt top would look like this:
A box of business cards for "Simply Quilts" was also stolen. There were approximately 200 cards left. They include:
Simply Quilts
Handmade with love
DeAnn Nichelson
Owner/Quilter
The Omaha address at zip code 68164
The telephone number
simplyquilts522@yahoo.com
If you have seen this quilt or are given one of the cards by someone other than the person posted on this website, or have additional information regarding the thefts, please contact me at:
simplyquilts522@yahoo.com
Please help me get this quilt and the business cards back. The quilt is supposed to honor a veteran. That veteran is a noble person that deserves the recognition. Thank you!
UPDATE:
While I initially purchased enough fabric for three quilts, I only completed the one, shown at the beginning of this post. It was presented to Duke Humphrey, a Marine during the Vietnam War, in February, at VFW Post 2503, in Omaha, Nebraska.
